In 1998 as a college student in NW Indiana, he took a job in sales at TruGreen-ChemLawn and spent 15 years there learning the ins and outs of corporatized lawn care.

In 2012 he left and decided to make his voice heard online, he doesn’t just teach lawn care to homeowners, he preaches it.
